June 2023
Josephine Sculpture Park
We had heard about this park from our other birding friends and knew some people who had worked on some projects there, but just had never made it out. June presented us with the perfect day/weather to try it out.
Josephine Sculpture Park is a non-profit, donor-supported public park that contains 70+ art works that stretch across 2 miles worth of mowed trails and 30 acres of native plants and fields. Great birding spot, plenty of birds and bugs to be found. Some parts of the park don’t have much shade due to the landscape so don’t recommend going during on a really hot day. Dogs are allowed on leashes (we left the boys at home so we could fully enjoy the art pieces).
